History

Since John Jørgensen acquired the majority of shares in Dan-Special on 1  April  2008, he has filled the post as Managing Director.

Dan-Special was founded by John’s father, Bent Jørgensen, in 1981. Initially, the company was located in older premises, but shortly after Dan-Special was able to move into more contemporary facilities and invest in new technology and more machinery.

The company has prepared the generational change the last couple of years before finally transferring  responsibilities to the son. John was trained as a toolmaker at Danfoss A/S and started his career in the company back in 1981. Over the years he has completed several leadership training programs, and with his long-year experience in the company John possesses all the qualifications it takes to lead the company successfully into the future. The last  two years before the generational change, John filled the post as Technical Director.
